Counseling typically takes place during
50 minute sessions once a week.
The process involves gradually forming
a relationship with your counselor that
includes a growing sense of safety and
trust. It then becomes more and more
possible to access and explore thoughts,
emotions and experiences which may be
connected to hurt, confusion and unmet needs.
This guided exploration can lead to insight,
clarity, a sense of increased
self-awareness
and acceptance as well as feelings
of relief and hope. Along with these
experiences may come the freedom to
make more authentic and fulfilling choices
based on your own truths. |
